If you have any experience in the language you’re trying to learn, from classes in your primary education to classes in college, or if you lived in a foreign country for a bit, Duolingo will initially be too way too easy. It’s going to be way too easy at first - do the checkpoint tests If you want to band together with a significant other, friends, or siblings, there’s a family plan that you can split between people. The app gives you a 14-day free trial and eliminating ads most certainly makes it a much better experience. So is it worth paying for? Well, it depends. Here’s what you should know about making the most out of the app: The app does not incentivize or reward failureĪctually, I did Duolingo for more than 55 days. I noticed a sharpening in my comprehension of Spanish whenever I encountered anyone speaking it on the street, and I also built my Spanish vocabulary immensely. I ended up completing Duolingo lessons for 55 days straight. ![]()
